    The Panchayat and Rural Development Department is actively taking part for economic  upliftment of rural people through executing the following schemes  :

        2)SGRY Ist Stream  &  2nd Stream

        3)IAY New Construction and Up gradation

        4)PMGY

        5)MID  DAY MEAL

        6) KANYA SURAKSHA

    SGSY:    The Panchayat & Rural development Department is taking upmost initiative in executing the scheme SGSY through which the Department is encouraging the unemployed youth to take up income generating activities through Self Help Groups (SHG). Since inception  uptill now total               Nos of SHGs has formed all over Assam.
